North South University Students Complete Research Exchange at Universiti Malaya

Five students from North South University (NSU) successfully completed a 28-day outbound research and cultural exchange program at Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, highlighting international collaboration in advanced scientific research.

Intensive program focused on cutting-edge work in 3D-printed microneedles and nanotechnology, bridging laboratory innovation with real-world clinical applications. Students gained hands-on experience in fabrication using stereolithography (SLA) technology and participated in mentorship sessions led by global scientific experts.

Exchange emphasized practical research skills, interdisciplinary learning, and exposure to emerging medical technologies, strengthening the students’ academic and professional development in biomedical engineering and nanoscience.

Beyond the laboratory, participants engaged in cultural exploration across Malaysia, visiting iconic destinations such as the Batu Caves and the historic city of Melaka City. These experiences enriched their understanding of Malaysia’s heritage and reinforced the value of international academic cooperation.

This outbound program demonstrates NSU’s commitment to global research partnerships, innovation, and cross-cultural learning, preparing students to contribute to scientific advancement on an international stage.
