The program, which lasts eight weeks from July 3 to August 27, 2026, requires applications to be submitted by November 15, 2025.

Eligibility criteria include being a first-year student at any international university with a bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines such as biology, biophysics, chemistry, bioengineering, bioinformatics, quantitative biology, or genetics. Additionally, candidates must have a minimum CGPA of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale and must have completed at least two years of undergraduate education or be in the first year of a master’s program.

Participants will receive a stipend of 3,600 Swiss francs covering accommodation and daily expenses, with accommodation provided in Lausanne or Geneva. Travel expenses will also be reimbursed, with up to 1,000 Swiss francs for international flights and 500 Swiss francs for shorter distances within Europe. The program includes supervision from experienced professors, weekly workshops focusing on scientific and personal development, and opportunities to present research findings through a poster session or presentation on the final day. Additionally, participants can engage in social and cultural activities such as excursions to the Swiss Alps and BBQ parties. Notably, an IELTS score is not required for language proficiency.

Candidates must submit an academic transcript and a recommendation letter, with all application steps completed online.
