Australia Awards Scholarships: Fully Funded Master’s Study in Australia for Bangladeshi Students 2027
Australia Awards Scholarships program, administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, offers fully funded scholarships for students from partner countries, including Bangladesh, to pursue graduate studies in Australia.
The scholarship provides opportunities for talented students—particularly from the Indo-Pacific region—to undertake full-time master’s degree programs at participating Australian universities.
For the 2027 intake, Bangladeshi students are eligible to apply for Master’s by Coursework or Master’s by Research programs.

Scholarship Benefits

- Introductory Academic Program (IAP) to prepare students for study
- Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
- Additional academic and pastoral support
The scholarship covers the minimum time required to complete the approved program.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the 2027 Australia Awards Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be citizens of Bangladesh and reside in the country
- Apply for a Master’s by Research or Coursework program
- Meet the academic and English language requirements
Applicants must also meet the following conditions:
- Minimum IELTS score of 6.5, with no band below 6.0
- Must not hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency
- Must not be married to someone holding or eligible for PR/citizenship in Australia or New Zealand
- Must not have received an Australia Awards Scholarship within the last four years
- Military personnel are not eligible

How to Apply
Applications can be submitted through the Online Australia Awards Scholarships Information System (OASIS).
Applicants must:

- Prepare all required documents
- Register and complete the application in the OASIS portal
- Submit the application before the deadline
Applicants will receive a unique registration number, username and password after registering in the system.
Although online applications are strongly recommended, instructions for mail submissions are available in the country profile.
