North South University ECE in QS Rankings 2026

North South University’s (NSU) Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) has achieved significant success in the recent QS World University Rankings-2026 subject-wise rankings.

For the first time, the university’s Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) discipline has been ranked in the 401–450 band globally, ranking second among all public and private universities in Bangladesh. In addition, the Computer Science and Information Systems program has been ranked in the 551–600 band globally and third in the country.

This achievement is the result of the combined efforts of the university’s teachers, researchers, officials and all concerned. The departmental chairman expressed gratitude to the university’s vice chancellor, pro vice chancellor, treasurer and IRC for their visionary leadership and continuous support.

At the same time Mohammad Abdul Matin chairman of the North South University Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) praised the dedication, hard work and contributions of the teachers and officials of the ECE Department, whose relentless efforts have made this success possible.

This recognition is considered an important step in further strengthening the university’s global academic standing. The NSU ECE Department is committed to enhancing research excellence, encouraging innovation and maintaining high standards in educational activities in the future.
