According to a press release, the exhibition showcases selected academic works by ARC111 students, along with a limited number of projects from ARC112 and ARC200, highlighting the early creative and conceptual development of NSU’s future architects.

Showcasing Student Design and Heritage Conservation

In addition to design studio projects, the exhibition features heritage conservation presentations, reflecting students’ engagement with architectural history, cultural context, and the preservation of Bangladesh’s built heritage.

Exhibition offers an open platform for architectural professionals, educators, students, and the general public to explore student interpretations of form, space, materiality, and human-centered design. Displays include architectural drawings, physical models, visual studies, and conservation work.

Immersive Architectural Experience

Visitors will encounter tactile and visual narratives designed to encourage reflection and dialogue. Beyond academic presentation, the exhibition delivers an immersive experience that connects contemporary architectural creativity with cultural memory.

Held every semester, the First-Year ARC Exhibition is a significant milestone in NSU’s academic calendar, marking students’ early engagement with design thinking, creativity, and problem-solving.

Developed under the mentorship of NSU’s architecture faculty, the exhibited projects demonstrate how students translate abstract ideas into tangible architectural expressions.

Department of Architecture at North South University has invited professionals, educators, students, and members of the wider community to attend the exhibition and witness the creativity, curiosity, and promise of its emerging architects.
