Woosong University Partners with North South University and Acote Group to Expand AI Education and Global Opportunities
Woosong University has announced a landmark three-way partnership with North South University and Acote Group, aimed at advancing AI education, student exchange programs, and international internship opportunities. This collaboration aligns with South Korea’s strategy to become a top global AI powerhouse and supports students in gaining critical skills for the rapidly growing AI industry.
As AI innovation in South Korea is expected to generate hundreds of trillions of KRW in economic impact by 2030 and create millions of future-ready jobs, this partnership bridges academia and industry across borders. Students from Woosong University and North South University will benefit from student mobility programs, followed by hands-on AI internships with Acote Group, a leading Korean AI and IT solutions company. Participants will gain international experience, develop industry-ready skills, and prepare for careers in artificial intelligence.
To celebrate the launch, Prof. Tumennast Erdenebold, Professor of AI and Big Data at Woosong University, delivered a keynote lecture titled “South Korea AI Review: From National Strategy to Future Jobs.” The session energized students at North South University and inspired interest in pursuing advanced AI programs in South Korea.
