During the meeting, the two sides reviewed ULAB’s engagement with the ACU and explored new avenues for collaboration in line with the ACU Charter. Discussions focused on promoting internationalisation, fostering academic partnerships, and advancing higher education across the Commonwealth.

Professor Shamsad Mortuza reaffirmed ULAB’s commitment to global engagement, saying that stronger collaboration with the ACU would create greater opportunities for students and faculty while enhancing the university’s contribution to higher education and international knowledge exchange.

The meeting also identified several areas for future cooperation, including research, academic mobility, professional development, doctoral studies, and other educational initiatives. Both Association of Commonwealth Universities and University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh parties expressed optimism that closer collaboration would further strengthen academic excellence and expand international opportunities for the ULAB community.
