Independent University Bangladesh (IUB) has announced the procedures for undergraduate admissions for the summer 2026 semester, which was communicated on April 29, 2026. Selected candidates are encouraged to closely follow the outlined instructions, particularly those specified for programs outside pharmacy and law.

Key instructions include the need to check email for links to admission and course registration, which will be available from May 4, 2026, by 3 PM. Course registration is scheduled for May 6, 2026, with a final deadline for the payment of the admission fee of Tk. 25,000 and course fee by May 12, 2026. Candidates listed on the merit list for scholarships must adhere to additional guidelines related to merit scholarship applications.

For candidates admitted into the pharmacy and law programs, participation in an additional viva is required for final selection. The IUB Department of Pharmacy and Law will communicate specific dates and schedules for this viva separately.

It is also crucial for students with provisional or conditional admissions to submit necessary documents within one month from the admission date, as the university will validate academic certificates with the relevant authorities.
